The challenge
I was approached by Inspire Gymnastics, a family-run gymnastics school based in Nottingham to refresh their website. The team wanted the site to sound friendlier and more inclusive, as well as to showcase everything the school has to offer. From beginners’ gymnastics classes to tumble squads, Inspire has a lot to offer, so it was important that I showed the variety, and portrayed the enthusiasm of the team.
The solution
I made sure the copy was dynamic, suggested movement and was inspiring for new site visitors to get a feel for what the school is all about – a friendly and fun learning environment. The team was happy with the result and felt that the new copy would help them bring in new students.

Children need a place to flourish. That’s why Jo Robb founded Inspire after her experience as a Games Maker at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Seeing the commitment, joy and inspiration that the games sparked in imaginations young and old made Jo determined to recreate the passion in her home town.
Gymnastics is more than a sport. It’s about standing up, standing out and choosing your own path. The challenges you can overcome in the gym will help you tackle bigger things in life. It’s a chance to achieve what you practiced yesterday and set a goal to smash tomorrow.
